アメリカン航空・ジェットブルー航空・ユナイテッド航空なども所属しているエアラインズ・フォー・アメリカ（Airlines for America）は、航空券を購入するときの性別欄の選択肢にノンバイナリージェンダー（Non-Binary Gender）が選べるよう、2019年6月1日から運用を変更することを提案している。
「米国の航空会社は、職場としても乗客に対しても多様性とインクルージョンの文化を重んじており、安全で安心して楽しめるよう、すべての旅行者のニーズを満たすために日々努力している」と説明した。
Airlines for America which include companies such as American Airlines, Jet-blue, United and more will propose starting the first of June 2019 a Non-Binary Gender option when buying tickets.
“U.S. airlines value a culture of diversity and inclusion, both in the workplace and for our passengers, and we work hard each day to accommodate the needs of all travelers, while delivering a safe, secure and enjoyable flight experience,” said Airlines for America.
