CG Lyticsは、欧州取締役会における性別と年齢のダイバーシティに関連した「The State of Play：欧州」という新しいレポートを発表。欧州委員会（EC）は、ヨーロッパ諸国に上場しているすべての企業の取締役会に女性役員を最低40％採用する2020年戦略を提案。しかし、その代表構成はまだ未達成だ。
レポートによると、昨年のジェンダーダイバーシティは1％の増加で、取締役会の女性代表の27％にあたる。すべてのヨーロッパ諸国の中で、フランスが女性が最も多く、取締役会の42％を占めている。2番目がスウェーデン、ノルウェー、イタリアの3か国で、36％となっているが、以前のレポートと比較してスウェーデンは2％の減少、ノルウェーは1％の減少が見られた。昨年と比較して増加率が最も高い国（+ 4％）は、イギリス（現在30％）とアイルランド（現在19％）だ。最下位はルクセンブルグで、女性役員はわずか14％、しかし前回のレポートと比較して3％増加している。
また、このレポートは取締役会の指名平均年齢が以前の報告書と比較して0.6年若くなったことを示唆。しかし、取締役会に任命されるほとんどは、50〜65歳の年齢層で、すべての年齢層を合わせて1378人となるうちの898人がこの層から新しく任命された。

CG Lytics released a new report called “The State of Play: European Board Diversity” regarding gender and age diversity in the European boards.The European Commission (EC) proposed a 2020 strategy to adopt a minimum of 40% of female representation on boards for all companies listed in the European states.However, that representation is still far from being achieved.
According to the report, the gender diversity over the last year has increased by 1% reaching, 27% of female representation on boards.Among all European countries, France has the highest female representation with 42% of the board seats held by women.
In second place with 36% comes from three countries, such as Sweden, Norway and Italy. However, compared to the previous report, Sweden noted a 2% decrease and Norway a 1% decrease.The countries with the highest increase (+4%) compared to last year are the United Kingdom (now at 30%) and Ireland (now at 19%).The lowest representation comes from Luxembourg with only 14% of female on board, a 3% increase compared to the previous report.
The report also indicates that the average age for board nominations has decreased by 0.6 years compared to the previous report. However, the majority of board appointments are still from the 50-65 age bracket with 898 new nominations for a total of 1378 of all age brackets combined.
