フランスには、約30,000の中小企業があり、その売上高は400〜1億5,000万ユーロ。そのうち15％が女性主導の企業である。
ただし、その黒字は中小企業の総シェアの21％以上を占めている。
現在、フランスの投資ファンドの5％未満は女性が経営する企業に投資。
女性エクイティパートナーの創設者、Dunya Bouhacene氏は
「女性リーダーは、自分達にとって好ましくない環境で活動している。起業を奨励するものは何もなく、これを達成する為には、社会的パターンを解体し、ステレオタイプの世界観から離れなければない。投資に余裕を持たせ、良い収益性を生み出す必要がある。」と述べる。
今年選ばれた、女性のビジネスパフォーマンスが高い企業上位50社のうち、女性リーダーの大半は平均以上の学歴があり、また、そのうち80％以上が少なくとも修士号を持っている。
France has around 30,000 SMEs (Small and Mid-Sized Enterprise) whose turnover is between 4 and 150 million euros, of which 15% are headed by women.
However, their gross surplus represents more than 21% of the total share of SMEs.
Currently, less than 5% of the French investment funds go to businesses run by women.
“Women leaders operate in an environment that is not favorable to them, nothing encourages them to entrepreneurship, to achieve this they must deconstruct societal patterns, move away from a stereotyped worldview. They must therefore generate better profitability so that they can afford to invest,” said Dunya Bouhacene, founder of Women Equity Partners.
Among the 50 companies selected this year for the Women’s Equity Index, the majority of women leaders have an over average academic background. More than 80% of them have at least a master degree.
