フランスの投資ファンド会社であるアピカップ（Apicap）は、女性がリードする中小企業を対象とした新しい投資ファンドを開設すると明らかにした。
現在、フランスでは、60,000社の中小企業のうち、10,000社の中小企業は、女性がリードしているといわれています。フランスの中小企業の約15％が年間売上高は5〜1億ユーロ。
ただ、これらは民間投資の4％に過ぎず、フランスでの民間投資の96％を男性が管理している。
しかし、女性主導または共同主導の企業はパフォーマンスが向上する傾向があることが報告されているのだ。
その為、年間1億から2億ユーロの価値を持つこのフランスの新しい投資ファンドは、最大800万から2,000万ユーロまでを、女性が経営するいくつかの企業に、80％はフランス企業に、20％はヨーロッパ企業に投資する。
この投資は、多様な背景を持つ男性指導者と女性指導者の間の交流と繁栄を目指しており、そのため、Club Women Leadership Capital,とEquity Performance Indexは、プロジェクトにとって不可欠となっている。
Apicap, a French investment fund company, revealed it will open a new investment fund aimed for female leaded SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises).
Currently, in France, 10,000 SMEs companies are led by women out of the 60,000 SMEs, ie around 15% of the French SMEs companies with an annual turnover between 5 and 100 million euros. However, they represent only 4% of private investments, meaning men manage 96% of private investments in France.
However, reports show female leaded or co-leaded companies tend to perform better.
The fund, valued between 100 and 200 million euros a year, plans to invest in companies run by women up to 8 to 20 million euros per investment. 80% of the investments will go to French companies, and 20% to European companies.
The fund aims to be a place of exchange and reflection between men leaders and female leaders from diverse backgrounds. As such, the Club Women Leadership Capital, as well as an Equity Performance Index, are an integral part of the project.
