フランスの男女平等部門担当副大臣であるマルレーヌ・シアッパ(Marlene Schiappa)が10月中旬、11億ユーロの予算を2020年の男女平等予算に割くと発表した。
この数字は2017年比で250％、2012年以降では480％の増加になる。
3,000万ユーロが副大臣のところに委ねられ、フランス全土における1,300もの男女平等関連の協会に資金が配られる。
残りの予算は他の省、たとえば医療、司法、教育、労働などといったところに配分される。
たとえば、2018年、211万4,000ユーロが女性起業家や女性が率いる企業の再建・発展向けの融資予算として割り当てられた。
予算の半分である5,500万ユーロが国際手続きの際の開発サポート、女性の権利の尊重、男女平等の推進といったことに使われるだろう。

この11億ユーロに加え、3億6,150万ユーロが女性に対する性暴力やハラスメント対策として割り当てられる。
The French secretary of Gender Equality, Marlene Schiappa announced mid-October a new €1,116 billion budget allocated for gender equality in 2020.
This represents an increase of 250% compared to 2017 and 480% since 2012.
A €30 million envelop will go to the state secretary, to finance among others, 1,300 associations involved in gender equality across the country.
The rest of the budget will be distributed among other ministries, healthcare, justice, education, labor etc.
For example, in 2018 €21.14 million was allocated to grant loans to women entrepreneurs for the creation, recovery or development of women-initiated enterprises.
About half of the budget, €550 million, will be used in international procedures, such as development support, defending women’s rights, promoting gender equality around the world etc.

In addition to the €1,116 billion, a €361.5 million budget will be dedicated to the fight against sexual violence and harassment against women.
