アメリカの銀行であるモルガンスタンレーが8月13日付で、ジェンダーダイバーシティのある企業に着目した新しい報告書を発表した。
モルガンスタンレーは「HERS」と呼ばれるランキングを開発、これは取締役、役員、管理職、全世界の従業員など、企業の異なる部門における女性割合に基づいて、職場におけるジェンダーダイバーシティと企業の業績に与える影響を測定するものである。
2010年から2019年におけるMSCI World Indexに上場している1,875の企業の業績によると、ジェンダーバランスのある企業の方がない企業より2.8％業績がよい。
MSCI World Indexは23の先進国における株式市場インデックスである。
ジェンダーダイバーシティースコアが高い企業には、ルイヴィトン、アップル、フェイスブック、ウォルマートが含まれる。
報告書によれば、ジェンダーバランスが整った企業はそうでない企業よりも規模、利益、収益性、リスク面において業績がよい。
The American bank, Morgan Stanley published a new report on August 13 highlighting the performance of gender diverse companies.
Morgan Stanley developed HERS ranking, a new metric to evaluate gender diversity in the workplace and its impact on companies’ performances based on the percentage of women in the different levels of the company, board, executives, managers and global workforce.
Based on the analysis of 1875 MSCI World Index listed companies between 2010 and 2019, more gender balanced companies tend to perform better than less diverse companies by 2.8%.
The MSCI World Index is a stock index measuring the stock market performance of 23 economically developed countries.
Companies with the highest gender diversity score include Louis Vuitton, Apple, Facebook and even Walmart.
According to the report, gender balanced companies outperform less balanced companies, even taking account of the size, the yield, the profitability or the risk.
