世界を代表する銀行のうち7つの銀行がValuable 500に障害者インクルージョンの改善を目的として加入した。
Valuable 500は2019年1月に始まった世界的な活動で、1年という期間で障害者インクルージョンを目的に500の企業を結び付ける目標を掲げている。
最近では、銀行の多大な努力により、障害者の雇用を進めることでインクルージョンが促されている。
「我々は世界を代表するような銀行をValuable 500に迎えるにあたり、大変嬉しく思っている」と、Valuable 500の創設者であるキャロライン・ケイシー(Caroline Casey)は述べる。
新しいメンバーは、イングランド銀行(The Bank of England)、ロイズ銀行(Lloyds)、HSBC UK、RBS、マネックス(Monex)、スタンダードチャータード銀行(Standard Chartered)、イスラエルのバンク・ハ＝ポアリーム銀行(Bank Hapoalim of Israel)の７つだ。
Seven of the world-leading banks joined the Valuable 500 to increase disability inclusion.
The Valuable 500 is a worldwide action started in January 2019 with the objective to unite 500 companies over one year period to the cause of disability inclusion. All members of the Valuable 500 have to make disability part of their board agenda, make a firm commitment to action and share it internally and externally.
Recently the banking sector has greatly increased its efforts to improve the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace.
“We are thrilled to be welcoming such an acclaimed group of world-leading banks to The Valuable 500 today,” said Caroline Casey, founder of The Valuable 500.
The seven new members are : The Bank of England, Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC UK, RBS, Monex, Standard Chartered and Bank Hapoalim of Israel.
