A recent study by Macmillan cancer reveals that One in five (20%) employees who had suffered cancer said they faced discrimination such as demotion which is illegal under equality and disability laws, according to its YouGov poll of 1,500 victims.
One in 25 (4%) said they had lost their jobs as a result of their diagnosis.
