ハノイで行われた世界経済フォーラムで、日本の河野太郎外相は、日本はより多くの外国人を受け入れようとしていくと語った。
少子高齢化によって、日本の人口が毎年50万人ずつ減少していることに触れ、「私たちはそのような社会を維持することはできません。」 「私たちは国を開放しています。私たちは外国に労働市場を開放しています。私たちは現在、新しい労働許可の方針を策定しようとしています。」などと会議の中で発言した。
During a World Economic Forum in Hanoi, the Japanese Foreign minsiter Taro kono said Japan is going to accept more foreigners.
“We can not sustain our country like that”, “We are opening up our country. We are opening up our labor market to foreign countries. We are now trying to come up with a new work permit policy so I think everyone shall be welcome in Japan if they are willing to assimilate into Japanese society.” he said during the conference.
